COMMUNICATORS UNITE FOR CAMS GOT TALENT

Cebu Alliance of Mass Communication Students (CAMS) held its annual talent competition, CAMS Got Talent last Thursday, August 24 participated by mass communication students from various schools at the atrium of Robinsons Galleria Cebu City.
Hosted by TV personality Phoebe Fernandez and University of the Philippines-Cebu student Jersey Blanco, contestants hit the stage with their performances in dancing, singing and comical skit.
The event was organized by CAMS in cooordination with ABS-CBN as part of the activities for TV Patrol Central Visayas' 29th anniversary with an aim of developing camaraderie and unity among Mass communication students despite the sense of competition. The activity also wanted to emphasize the role of communicators as fact-checkers especially in today's rise of fake news.
Miss Bernadette Sembrano, ABS-CBN TV Patrol News Anchor was also present to invite everyone to join the activities ABS CBN has prepared for their 30th anniversary.

The participating schools were University of the Philippines-Cebu, University of San Carlos, University of the Visayas, University of San Jose Recoletos, Cebu Normal University, Saint Theresa's College, Cebu Institute of Technology- University, Benedicto College, South Western University and Cebu Technological University.
